HighWesthus is a Kansas City rapper but at his core Shaun Teamer is much more than that. In 2012 he earned a BFA in Animation from the Kansas City Art Institute and currently is one of four people running the multimedia company, Strange Paper Studio. Late 2018 HighWesthus released an ambitious ep accompanied by a short film called TAKOTSUBO: A Love Story that evokes the imagery and emotion of the songs on the album. Shaun is one of those people who just create without hesitation and that confidence and swagger shine through in his performances.
