Since their first show in 2011 Radkey has ridden a trajectory unmatched by most bands out of the midwest. After 8 years the guys are probably sick of the clickable headline label that comes with their project but it’s an important one. They are a family band through and through. Navigating the world of rock and roll as 3 black brothers from St Joseph, Missouri has surely shaped the mission statement and approach that they encompass. Their father, Dadke himself, has managed the band since the beginning, keeping their best interests at heart. The band brings raucous punk rock in the vein of the Misfits, Bad Brains, and Minor Threat to the modern music world. Dee’s low vocal growl and furious riffing, Isaiah’s intense energy and bass shredding, and Solomon’s relentless pounding make for an incredible live act not to be missed.
