No Swoon’s music is an art rock/dream pop collaboration between Tasha Abbott and Zack Nestel-Patt. The band is based out of Brooklyn NY and their music is filled with equal parts shoegaze, post-rock ambience and sonic electro aggression. Zack creates dense, thumping synth and bass backdrops using an abundance of sounds while Tasha’s reverb soaked voice echoes over her gritty but dreamy guitar melodies. The drums on their debut record sound phenomenal and when the band tours they fill out the sound as such. No Swoon’s debut material is a strong batch of focused, emotional songwriting and absolutely deserves a listen.
